Since we were talking about Conspiracies
Conspiracy Planet~9/11 Commission:A 571-Page Lie
15. The omission of the fact that President Bush's brother Marvin and his cousin Wirt Walker III were both principals in the company in charge of security for the WTC.
52. The omission of the fact that President Bush and other members of his administration repeatedly spoke of the 9/11 attacks as "opportunities" .
57. The omission of the report that at a meeting in July 2001, US representatives said that because the Taliban refused to agree to a US proposal that would allow the Caspian pipeline project to go forward, a war against them would begin by October .
In a nutshell, we needed a war in the Middle East for several reasons.
1. Security of Israel
2. Secure ME oil
3. Increase military spending
4. Creation of the Patriot Act and other Bush policies
Is liberation of Iraq and Afghanistan on that list? No, those are just incidental.
The operation was carried out by the Mossad and the ISI, who were then flown back to Israel by Michael Chertoff, who was then promoted from Criminal Division of the Justice Dept to lead the Dept. of Homeland Security.
We needed a national tragedy to rally the support of the public for all of the objectives to fall into place.
Right now, plans are being drawn to get an oil pipeline up and running from Iraq to Israel.
I have nothing against jews in general, but this is what occured.
3000 lives is a small price in the minds of our government, not to mention all lost on the battlefields in the ME. Without the sacrifice of those citizens on 9/1/01, war would be out of the question, and Bush needed this war desperately.
If you are asking Who Benefits, lots of people do.
Israel benefits because we are getting rid of their enemies and giving them oil without them having to lift so much as a finger. Their work was done four years ago.
Our military benefits with more $$$ to spend on R/D, even though the soldiers aren't benefiting from this at all.
Halliburton and KB&R benefit with government contracts.
Alot of people made alot of money when the tower fell through put options.
Bush benefits with the Patriot act and all of his other agendas which he easily connects to that date.
Those 3000? War casualties in the minds of our heads of state. It so easy to justify it and use it as a springboard for so many other atrocities.

I am an American. I was born here. Not by choice but by chance, and I'm glad for it. I don't criticize her because I hate her, but because I want her to be what she is meant to be.
If I were to sit back and simply ignore her when she asks if her ass looks too fat when she's binging on other countries while purging at home, she'd be real sore with me for not saying so.
My country expects me to tell her when she's making a fool of herself at a party. She expects me to keep her slip from showing or having too many chards and dancing too wildly, stepping on diplomatic toes with stilettos. She would expect me to take the keys. I accept that duty as any doting partner would.
I am harsh with the mistress America because I love her. I've seen the relationships she's been in before, and I'm here to tell her to not make those mistakes again. Stop swooning over oily regimes who only have one thing in mind. Stop dating dictatorships that she thinks will further her career.
I am the mundane friend who tells her when her makeup is smudged or there's something in her teeth.
There is nothing wrong with America. She likes to party. She's wicked with the slap-back. She's smart, but young in a world of older countries all wanting her attention. If she didn't have me, she'd turn into a hate-spiral and end up in the corner eating ice cream.
I just have to make sure America doesn't fall in with the wrong crowd.....again.
She doesn't like being criticized, but better me than that hot Prince with a thousand wives, all of which wish they were America.
(If you don't think America is a woman, consider that man is ever trying to conquer her.
But she can't be taken, and that's a woman. She can be courted, but never taken unless SHE says so.)

Just A Thought
Before the election, I saw all sorts of Bush/Cheney stickers on SUV's, plenty of "pro-marriage" stickers proudly displayed.
Now, I don't see a one. Ever.
Seems to me those that supported Bush did the wise thing and scraped off those stickers on their expensive vehicles and quietly put away thier yard signs.
I feel the kettle about to boil.
CIA plans to purge its agency
Sources say White House has ordered new chief to eliminate officers who were disloyal to Bush

"If you're not being persecuted for your Christianity, then you're doing something wrong."
Some snips from an interesting read:
where souls brimful of love -
"It starts with the fact that we as conservative Christians are taught to see America as our land.
I mean, you guys in Europe and the loonies on the East and West Coasts think the Founding Fathers died to bring us religious freedom. They so did not. They died to give new Christianity a place where it could flourish."
"See, I grew up being taught that Catholicism was almost-sort-of-not-quite-but-we-won't-talk-about-it cult. Really. Lots of Southern Baptists believe Catholicism is a cult, despite the fact that it is the largest practiced religion in the world."
"Conservative beliefs do not spread because of ignorance. You must understand this. Conservative beliefs spread because of a need in the conservative church to emphasize that if you are not fighting, you are losing the battle for spiritual warfare.
And until you have been out there battling the forces of evil you don't really understand how every day events can be magnified to fit into a larger picture of a tapestry of events being orchestrated by Jesus to lead us on to a higher victory."
"The Southern Baptist church is the largest demonination of any religion in America. We're bigger than the Catholics now. And the single defining characteristic of the Southern Baptist church for the last 25 years has been that it has been fighting valiantly to wage the spiritual warfare on a political level. "
"I think it's wrong to call Bush a radical.
He doesn't care about conservative economics, conservative spending and conservative government. He cares about conservative christian spiritual warfare."
"When you blame the voters who chose Bush, you are completely mistaking what is happening in our country today.
Bush did not win the election based on ignorance and stupidity. He won the election based on a belief system that has been determinedly advancing across the country because Christians believe it is their spiritual duty to bring people to Christ. And you cannot be successfully brought to Christ until you also commit to serving Christ. "
I would argue that such a belief system is ignorant, but not stupid.
Also, this sounds more cult-like than Catholicism, but the point is taken.
All religions are Cults in my eyes.

14 identifying characteristics of fascism
5.) Rampant Sexism
The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.
8.) Religion and Government are Intertwined
Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.
9.) Corporate Power is Protected
The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

Moral Values Malarkey
"Let’s try to snuff this election’s new Big Theory before it becomes Conventional Wisdom, although it’s probably too late.
The subject matter is 'moral values.' The theory is this: Kerry lost because he was very unpopular with people who believe moral values are the most important issues. This group of values voters is growing and Democrats are doomed until they can win them over.
While the nexus of issues boiled into the words 'moral values' certainly were a big factor in this election, it’s being exaggerated partly because of the oddities of the poll itself and partly because the Big Theory conforms with what Republican strategists want you to believe."
It all makes sense now. The moral values angle was being rammed down our throats as the primary reason people voted for Bush, just like they wanted us to believe.
I think the reason alot of people voted for Bush is because he seems simple and honest and hard workin' like most folk, and that he got alot of beatings in his four years and pretty much took it standing up.
Americans identify with that.
What happens behind the scenes doesn't really matter. We aren't supposed to look behind the curtain.
His public persona clicked with many Americans where Kerry came off aloof and above everyone else because of his experiences in Vietnam. His subsequent anti-war efforts came back to haunt him in a current time of war. I think that's a pretty obvious reason for losing.
This is not to say I've gone to the other side.
In the game of politics, it is Us Vs Them. That's how it's played. There is no "healing", no common ground. There is no "reaching out to the other side".
Republicans do not reach out to democrats unless they have something to gain, and vice versa.
It's dog eat dog, just like every other game.
In order to conquer an enemy, one must first understand him.
I think this is one of Bush's strengths in "the Homeland" and his weakness in foreign policy.
Remember, he'd never had a passport until he took office in 2000.
Think of any reality series on TV.
You play nice with everyone and try to get along, while you manipulate and use them to climb further into the finals.
You make friends, then knock them over on the way to the top, only on a global scale and with human lives.
We used Saddam for as long as we could until he got too big for his britches and we had to get him voted out.
Rumsfled and Cheney know, they were there. Why do you think they made it to Season III?
Clinton pretty much had his own show for Season II.
The Men Who Stare At Goats by Jon Ronson
"n October 2001, Jamal visited Pakistan as a tourist, he says. He was in Quetta on the Afghanistan border, four days into his trip, when the American bombing campaign began."
Stop.
What were you doing in Pakistan in October of 2001, Jamal? Touring??
How could you not know what was about to happen next??
"Nine days later - while he waited in Kandahar for the embassy to transport him home - the Americans picked him up."
He sounds surprised. Maybe he didn't know. He's only from Manchester England, after all.
"When I met Jamal, he began to tell me about the more bewildering abuses. Prostitutes were flown in from the US - he doesn't know whether they were there to smear their menstrual blood on the faces of the more devout detainees."
"One or two of the British guys," Jamal told me, "said to the guards, 'Can we have the women?' But the guards said, 'No, no, no. The prostitutes are for the detainees who don't actually want them.'
This is my favorite part-
""I would describe them as industrial noises," said Jamal. "Screeches and bangs. These would be played across the Brown Block into all the interrogation rooms. You can't describe it. Screeches, bangs, compressed gas. All sorts of things. Jumbled noises."
I'm thinking Einsturzende Neubauten. Interesting torture technique that I've indulged in myself.
But alas, they eventually went with Matchbox 20.

Next Right
The Arrogance of Losers
"Liberals are extremely arrogant, especially considering they lose so many elections."
Conservatives are extremely arrogant, probably because they win so many elections.
"They really believe they are better than thos ein the 'fly-over' states. They see them selves as very 'european', advanced and cultured.
I see them as losers!!!"
I've been to many of the so-called fly-over states.
Know why they call them that?
It is said you can watch your dog run away from home...for days.
Actually, I see now why they prefer Bush.
And this is no insult. They just prefer someone who speaks their language.
I should mention that Kerry wasn't my choice for democratic nominee and McCain would have had my vote for republican nominee, despite some of his views.
Too many voting ’irregularities’ to be coincidence
1. There were complaints in several states about the touchscreen voting machines not working properly.
I don't care about #2 yet.
3. Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell is this year’s Katherine Harris. Co-chair of the Bush campaign in Ohio, his blatant partisanship had many calling for his resignation. He bought e-voting machines for Ohio even after Diebold CEO wrote, "I am committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year." Several experts testify on the vote suppression in Ohio
I don't care about #4 yet.
Or #5.
What bothers me is #3.
Remember below, Diebold voting machines financed by the radical religious cult Christian Reconstructionists who want to abolish democracy.
2004 Election by IQ
Wow, I had no idea Hawaii was that high on the chart, and I lived there for 10 years.
AngryFinger
"Although we have lost a major battle we will not give up. We will continue our unprecedented grassroots movement to make sure that every citizen of the United States, rich or poor, black or white, Christian or Atheist is protected by our government to our right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. There is no room in liberty for the oppression of people's personal freedoms based on religious beliefs. Although we may have been blindsided by people preaching love and voting hate, we will work hard to make sure it doesn't happen again."
The New Democrat Will Not Take This Abuse
http://www.adamyoshida.com
"Let’s face a hard truth: this was the bitterest Presidential campaign in living memory. The Democrats and their allies staked everything on the defeat of this President. All of the resources they had accumulated over a generation of struggle were thrown into this battle: and they have failed. Despite all of their tricks, despite all of their lies, the people have rejected them. They mean nothing. They are worth nothing. There’s no point in trying to reach out to them because they won’t be reached out to. We’ve got their teeth clutching the sidewalk and out boot above their head. Now’s the time to curb-stomp the bastards."
Come try it.
We know what we did wrong. We are listening. But threats like this won't go unanswered.
Most republicans feel like this, though many won't openly admit it.
I will not allow you to stomp on me, literally or figuratively.
There is no choice but the illusion of choice
Preview: American Dictators: Documenting the Staged Election of 2004 by Alex Jones
I have to say, Gary Busey doesn't lend any credibility to their case.
"Could" See?
Yahoo! News - U.S.-Led Coalition Could See Desertions
" In a blow to U.S. efforts to keep countries from deserting the multinational force, Hungary said this week it won't keep troops there beyond March 31. The Czechs plan to pull out by the end of February, the Dutch soon afterward. And Japan is feeling pressure to withdraw.
There could be even more troop pullouts after Iraq holds elections in January and nations feel their obligations have ended."
So much for the "coalition of the willing".
The Bright Side of Black Tuesday
excerpts:
Pundits have declared that the election was about "moral values." Americans in the red states voted against homosexual marriage and abortion.
Let's hope that this is correct. Otherwise, America is doomed if Bush's reelection is based on his economic and foreign policy record.
Can you imagine our peril if Bush's mandate is for unprecedented trade and budget deficits and job loss? Or for taking the country to war based on incompetence or deception?
If Bush limits his second term to homosexual marriage and abortion, we and the world will be a lot safer. Medical doctors will not stop putting the mother's life first, and homosexuals are no more in need of marriage than the large percentage of heterosexuals who have abandoned it.
Repeat after me: No mandate for preemptive war. No mandate for American Empire. No mandate for isolating America from its allies. No mandate for Israeli territorial expansion in the Middle East. No mandate for endless red ink. No mandate for selling out American jobs and occupations to foreigners. No mandate for a domestic police state.
Bush’s strongest supporters are the Christian Reconstructionists, a radical wing of the religious right, who want to see the U.S. transformed into a theocratic state based on the book of Leviticus.
What hasn’t gotten much press is that the main venture capitalist backing both Diebold and ES&S, the two primary manufacturers of computerized voting machines, is Howard Ahmanson, a Christian Reconstructionist who has said openly that he has the goal of imposing Biblical law on the US."
"We didn't vote for a theocracy."
Keep telling yourself that, while I dig deeper as time permits.
You may not have voted with theocracy on your mind, but the goal is there, and the will of the religious fanatics is strong.
Also, I'm pretty tired of people saying "the American people showed Kerry the door" or variations on that theme.
Remember, millions of Americans voted for Kerry.
Finally, religion breeds ignorance.
It may bring Good to alot of people who need such a structure, but mostly it brings bigotry and hatred for those who choose not to follow ancient middle eastern religious texts.
Capn's Got The Right Idea
Lose the old playbook, get some balls
"Over the last few years, we plainly got our asses kicked. We have been painted as unpatriotic, treasonous, French, weak or whatever the fuck they say. But for some reason, we have been pussies and taken it. So much so that the word liberal has become a bad word."
I had to subscribe to a day pass just for this one blurb, but it makes sense.
